Contracts
Contract: Innovation, Integration, and Information Services II (3IS II)
On 3IS II, MCSG as prime contractor provides systems engineering support to the USSF across all major contract mission areas: IT, Test, Warfighter Training and support to other affiliated organizations. MCSG provides technical integration and resource management for tasks to include cross-task and reach-back integration for additional technical services, system engineering, and analysis and evaluation of initiatives. MCSG provides all technical network and systems engineering expertise to the Government with a complete technical solution that meets the requirement or intent of the customer, provide recommendations to the Government regarding issues with a Communication System Requirement Document (CSRD), and provide the Government with alternatives to meet the requirements outlined in the CSRD.
MCSG delivers software, designs, records, databases, manuals, guides, standard operating procedures, and similar items developed in rendering technical network and systems engineering services and in developing technical solutions. MCSG support the Government with defining requirements, develop/find technical solutions, work plans that are consistent with architectural and information system security guidelines and policies, and update local procedures explaining how to prepare and process communication system requirements. Technical solution coordination shall include, as a minimum, cybersecurity and systems engineering review.
Contract: Software Engineering Services (SES) III
MCSG supports NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center’s Software Engineering Division (SED) by providing quality software products, services and expertise to ensure the success of NASA missions and stakeholders. Products and services expertise include flight software systems, ground software systems, science data systems, software technology infusion, mission environments, software engineering, software systems engineering, secure coding, software/data systems project management, mission operations and mission validation capabilities. SED focuses on the development of reusable, secure flight and ground architectures and frameworks to reduce mission cost, maximize development schedule, minimize customer programmatic/technical risks, and increase the scientific value of information products. The SED is responsible for the engineering of software and information systems through all phases (formulation through on-orbit operations/decommissioning) of NASA programs and projects.
MCSG, through a Joint Venture with Vantage Systems Inc., manages this single award IDIQ valued at $359M.
Contract: Plans & Programs Engineering Design Support (PEDS)
MCSG supports the United States Space Force (USSF) 50th Space Communications Squadron by providing communications systems design, architecture design, and customer support in defining requirements. MCSG determines technical solutions as well as design, develop and implement site support to include installs, testing and evaluation of new and upgraded equipment. We also ensure communications and information systems integrate with local, Air Force, and DoD architectures.
MCSG provides systems engineering, design, installation, transport testing, and documentation of secure/non-secure telephone, video, data, transport, and computer network systems for USSF organizations, tenant units, and any off-site organization which requires connection to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and Base Operational Support (BOS) point-of-presence (POP).
