"Larry Adkins: "The following is another example of how our 3IS II team continues to provide outstanding service to our customer and the warfighters who rely on OL-A’s (Operating Location -Alpha Operations Flight at Schriever AFB) M&S (Modeling and Simulation) capabilities. In January 2021, three of our 3IS II Space Integration team members (John Marley, Kenny Cross, and Tim Estes who support STAR Delta, OL-A (formerly, DMOC-S)) teamed with the 176th Operations Support Squadron from Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Anchorage, Alaska to conduct a multi-domain combat training event for the Alaska Air National Guard. Our team leveraged OL-A’s in-house space M&S capabilities to simulate space electronic intelligence threats and provide combat survivor evader locator data directly to the cockpits of airborne HH-60G Pave Hawk’s and HC-130J Combat King II’s flying from JBER, Alaska. In Jan 2021, our Space Integration team members who support the Space Force’s new STAR Delta This training event exercised JBER’s CSAR capability of approximately 40 personnel (HH60, HC130, SERE, and Intel) in the Arctic over three days. When asked about OL-A’s M&S support, the distant-end customer of OL-A’s M&S injects, Maj “Buck” Wiese, 176 OSK, Chief of Weapons and Tactics, stated, “We did also accomplish some mission pilot upgrade training in the HH60. Thanks to you and your organization for the support. John [Marley], and his team, provided first class exercise simulations, as usual.
