MCSG provides Test & Evaluation support, providing overall structure and objectives of the test, reducing system risk by providing knowledge of system capabilities and limitations, improving system performance and optimizing system use and sustainment in operations.
Contracts
Contract: Innovation, Integration, and Information Services II (3IS II)
MCSG, as the prime contractor on 3IS II, provides operation support and technical expertise to the 17th Test and Evaluation Squadron (17 TES) at Schriever and Buckley Space Force Bases; 4th Test and Evaluation Squadron (4 TES), Detachment 2, at Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station, and 1st Test and Evaluation Squadron (1 TES) at Peterson Space Force Base. We support all types and phases of test and evaluation with technical expertise in the areas of early involvement, test planning, test execution, test analysis, test reporting, and test closeout. MCSG performs critical support in the roles of Test Analyst, Test Director, and Data Collector. We provide the following Test and Evaluation support at these locations:
- 1st Test and Evaluation Squadron: Supports test planning and support for Space based command control systems evaluation of US Space Force
- 4th Test and Evaluation Squadron, Detachment 2: MCSG supports approximately 3 to 5 tests annually in support of Cheyenne Mountain AFS operations, the Missile Warning Operations Center at Offutt AFB, and the Joint Space Operations Center operations at Vandenberg AFB.
- 17 TES Main: MCSG supports approximately 5 to 8 annual tests for the 17 TES Main in support of testing for Ground Based Radars, Weapon System Evaluation Programs, tactics development evaluation, and Missile Defense systems.
- 17 TES Main, Detachment 1: MCSG supports testing for the entire suite of Space Based Infrared Radar systems upgrades at Buckley SFB.
